Alex has been growing up so fast lately...he likes to play sitting up in his bumbo seat or against mom and dad and wants to put everything and anything in his mouth. He has figured out a lot better how to get things he sees into his hands and then to the mouth, but will settle for his hands if he drops his toy along the way. We've stopped swaddling him at night and he moved into his nursery in his crib to sleep instead of in the cradle in our room. It's made for some more restless nights, but he is getting better at it.
Andy got out the jump n go bouncer/swing thing and put Alex in it. He wasn't sure what to make of it and I think he felt weird with his bare feet on the cold floor, but he didn't fuss or cry. He moved around some and seemed to like when he would pick up his feet and swing around, which of course surprised him. Andy then ratcheted it up so his feet were off the ground and he could push him like a swing and Alex seemed to enjoy that too.
We've got his 4 month checkup (ugh--more shots) on June 17th, then we are off to Illinois to visit with Andy's family on the 19th. The normal 14 hour drive for us will be longer with the little one. Hopefully he does ok with it--I'm sure it will more stressful for mom and dad than him! He will finally get to meet his great-grandparents and lots of other friends and family.
