Alex's 2nd Birthday Party

Alex loves Thomas the Tank Engine--watching the shows and videos, singing the songs, playing with the trains. For his second birthday, we hosted a party at our house for his friends and our friends, ending up with 13 children ranging in age from 0-8 and their parents.

The birthday cake...Thomas' Birthday Celebration cars chugging on a bridge (graham crackers) over a lake with big red (swedish) fish...Devils food cake with buttercream frostingThe train car cupcakes...hauling animals (animal crackers), logs (red vines), and engines with coal (raisinets and a licorice smokestack), with wheels (mini oreos)...Vanilla cake with buttercream frosting



Eating dinner with some ladies (Sophia and Maggie)...Enjoying some juice, watching Thomas...Table set for the singing and cake...Lighting the candles...Happy birthday to Alex...Enjoying his cake...Enjoying some cupcake... What a nice boy, sharing with daddy...

What a wonderful party! I'm sure Alex doesn't yet fully appreciate all the creativity and work that went into it. Awesome job, Mom & Dad!
We're thinking we have 2 very precocious grandchildren with Alex's vocab and letter recognition, and Evie's rolling abilities!...Miss you all!

Wow, Andi, you did a phenomenal job on the party! I can't believe those cupcakes, you are awesome!!! I'm sure Alex was in train heaven!
