Alex is 13 months old! (Happy St. Patty's Day)

Alex is walking all over the place and tries to pick up speed every so often. He is into everything he can get his hands on and does not like anything to be taken away. He loves snacks, and will bang on the pantry door if he wants one and can't find a bag of anything in his diaper bag. He sometimes makes the sign for more but mostly likes to do a repetitive whine when he needs you to open something for him. He is finally all over the cold, flu, ear infection but is not doing too well. Sunday morning he woke up with welts on his face, and by Sunday evening, they were all over his body and his feet and hands were so swollen, his little toes were purple. This continued Monday and the doctor said it is an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin he finished on Friday. No wonder he hated taking that stuff so much! Poor kiddo--he just can't get a break. He is in better spirits today, but still has the hives. We give him Benedryl every 4 hours or so. He can't go to the CDC, so more time home with mom this week until he clears up--the doctor says it could take several days til the medicine gets out of his system. Hopefully he can stay completely healthy for a little while.
We finally got our airplane out of hiding this past weekend. I flew it from Kenmare to Minot, picked up Andy and Alex, and we took a quick ride around the town. I had to have a few maintenance items taken care of, then I will probably take it back to the hangar this coming weekend. I was up in the high 40's Sunday afternoon and Monday too, so we got to take some short walks outside.
Pictures are mostly of Alex enjoying some toys. You can see his teeth (all 7) pretty well in a few of them. There are also a couple of Andy and I at the International Military Ball that we went to on Feb 28th. He likes to play with the bubbles and yes, he is wearing his Lightning McQueen snow boots--had to get them for outside play time at the CDC (if he ever gets there and it's above 15 degrees).
The countdown is on for our move to AL. We will leave around Jun 22nd, so only 3 months and a few days to go!

I can't believe your luck! Poor little guy and poor you for having to take care of all those things one right after the other! Hopefully things are looking up!
