Late April

April did not slow down for the second half of the month either. Here are our pictures from late April.

We went to the Day Out with Thomas at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in Calera, AL on the 17th. Alex had a blast riding the trains, playing mini-putt-putt golf (where he got a hole-in-one), and doing everything Thomas-related. He got a Harold the Helicopter tattoo (temp of course), played with all kinds of toy trains, jumped in the bouncy castle, rode the big and little trains, and got pictures taken with Thomas the Train and Sir Topham Hatt.
The following weekend, we travelled to Mexico City Beach, FL where Andy ran the Beach Blast olympic distance triathlon. The weather made for a tough ocean swim, but Andy did great and placed first for his age group with a 2:09ish time. The weather also put a damper on any beach activities, but we enjoyed some good seafood. We also decided this would be last time we could have all four of us in the same hotel room because nobody got any sleep.

Evelyn (ok, her mom really) has been venturing into the realm of fashionista with her flower headbands and generally just looking cute during her last weeks of being a 3-month-old.
