Evelyn 4 months and Early May

Evelyn turned 4 months old on May 2nd. At her 4 month well baby visit on the 4th, she weighed in at 12 lb, 9 oz (16%), measured 24 1/4 in (35%), and had a head circumference of 16 in (28%). She is a sweet and cuddly baby, with lots of smiles. She started eating some food, beginning with rice cereal. She can roll both front to back and back to front, though she gets easily frustrated on her belly.

Alex has been enjoying going to see the Biscuits games (the Montgomery minor league baseball team)...but not for the baseball...just for the bouncy castles/slide and playground! He also went to the pool at the Y and impressed us with his lack of fear of going under the water after going down the slide (over and over and over...).

I enjoyed my mother's day with a day trip to Birmingham with the family. We went to Whole Foods and ate at Macaroni Grill for lunch before the drive home for naps. Alex made me this great flower pot at school (on his last day of the year). It's my first real handmade project from the kids and it made me choke up when I saw it. So sweet!
