We celebrated Alex's 3rd birthday on Saturday, February 19th with a birthday party for family and friends. We visited the local fire station where the fire chief and firefighters gave us a tour of the station and showed the kids around the trucks. They spouted water and turned on the lights and sirens as well as let the kids crawl in and pretend to drive the trucks.
After the station tour, we met back at our house and enjoyed sandwiches, snacks, and a fire truck cake and cupcakes after we sang happy birthday. 
The kids (we had about 12) played inside and outside as it was a beautiful warm and sunny day. Alex had a blast with his friends, and loved his many presents.

Alex is a loving and happy 3 year old who loves to ask "what's this/that?", tell you he loves you, sing songs, and play hard. Potty training has come a long way and he is only wearing diapers at night. He had a checkup on March 24th and weighed 33 pounds (61%) and was 37 1/4" tall (40%). He is very active and loves to ride his bike, play sports, and generally just run around. Here are some more pictures from his birthday party.
