We celebrated Evelyn's baptism and had a first birthday party for her on Sunday, February 20th. Pastor Cory presided at the church ceremony where Evelyn remained mostly calm except for the actual hand over to the pastor, put water on her head part. She looked darling in her big fluffy pink and white dress and Alex looked dapper in his shirt and tie. Andy also got baptised during the same ceremony and we all became members of Woodland UMC.
We held a brunch reception that rolled right into a birt
hday ice cream party at our home. We had a good crowd of about 6 kids, plus friends and family. We enjoyed quiches, ham, fruit, and cinnamon rolls for brunch. Evelyn changed into her 1 year old birthday tutu and ice cream top and we sang happy birthday then enjoyed ice cream sundaes. Evelyn ate all her ice cream and cone and was happy to share opening her gifts with her brother.
